Choose Watts 530C ½"Calibrated Pressure Relief Valve when your project calls for bypass thermal expansion relief. Spring operated; resets after quietly releasing pressure. Maximum working temperature is 180 degrees F. From the manufacturer: MFR Part # 530C 1/2 Item Model # 530-C 1/2". Calculations show pressure-reducing valves can save as much as 30% on domestic water heating costs, prevent water waste and perhaps even lower municipal sewer usage fees.
